Welcome to a
truly beautiful island...
Why not take a holiday
on Hvar? Jump into the azure blue
sea. Chill out in one of the stylish bars.
Sit in a restaurant overlooking the harbour and eat
freshly caught seafood. Rent a small
boat and relax in a secluded cove. Experience
the peaceful coolness of the Franciscan monastery.
This beautiful
Croatian Island is set in the crystal clear
waters of the Adriatic, and has been welcoming
visitors to its sunny climate for over a
century. Hvar Town itself is a fantastic mix of
Venetian architecture, fashionable bars,
amazing yachts and great food. You can
easily spend a week or two just soaking up what the
town and island have to offer. Or combine it
with a trip to another Croatian island, or perhaps
Dubrovnik.
Hvar was selected
as 1 of the 10 Most Beautiful Islands in the
World by Conde Naste 'Traveller' magazine - but
don't take their word for it - come and experience
it for yourself.
'Gerberas'
is a traditional Croatian stone house in the
old town, located just behind the cathedral and main
square. The house sleeps 5 people, with 2 double bedrooms,
1 sitting room (with sofa bed) and 2
bathrooms - see 'About
the house' for more details. It is
moments from the many cafes and restaurants.
Convenient for the harbour (for arrival by catamaran
and renting boats), bus station and supermarket it
is a great central location.
We would love to
spend all our in time in Hvar, but whilst we still
have to work in the UK we decided to rent out
'Gerberas' when we cannot be there. Enjoy! |
